The Founders
President and CEO of ASAG / Bernard de Montagnier
Born in Germany, Bernard de Montagner pursued higher education in France, where he acquired a solid foundation and an enriching perspective. His passion for aviation led him to AMAURY DE LA GRANGE School in 1980, where he undertook ATPL training, laying the groundwork for a distinguished and varied career in the aeronautical field.
- He was recruited by the BJV Group, as he is widely recognized as an aeronautical consulting expert. With over forty years of professional experience, Bernard de Montagner has established an undeniable presence in the air sector, particularly in Africa, accumulating valuable expertise and well-deserved fame.
- Bernard de Montagner has adeptly managed the many facets of aviation, among others as an airline pilot, flight commander, and B737 instructor, but also as a CSS / BSS / CCA trainer and examiner.
- His commitment as a teacher in management and communication within the CFA Group, demonstrated his versatile talent and his ability to make a significant contribution in the aeronautical field.
- His contribution is not limited to the sky; Bernard has played a key role in the creation of three MANEX / AOC / CTE in Africa, an achievement that testifies to his strategic vision and sense of initiative. He also gained additional experience by holding various management positions, including as Operations Director and Head of sector, thereby enriching his professional journey.

Founder of the BJV Group. Native of France, Airline Pilot on Airbus 320 on the African and Asian continent.

- TNAO / ATE training and experience in airport management of several platforms as Supervisor and also AFIS Air Traffic Controller
Our Story
One day of June 2022, following a starry meeting with our Gambian friend KEBBA, during an ICAO seminar in DAKAR, Cpt VAYSSE and Cpt BJF took the decision to create the airline "AIR STAR AIRLINES GAMBIA Ltd.".
For more than two years, we have been looking at the creation of an airline on the African continent.
Following our studies of the world air market, we consider that Africa is the future of Europe.
Cpt BJF and Cpt VAYSSE founded a SAS in FRANCE in 2017 called "Groupe BJV"
Management and training in the field of Aeronautics, operation and consulting of airlines.
Today the Groupe BJV is QUALIOPI France accredited for training.
Since October 19, 2022, we are proud to announce the creation of the airline company: ""AIR STAR AIRLINES GAMBIA Ltd.""
